Meet Katie who could care less about sharing her space with other dogs unless she needs warmness. She's one of those who wants to believe she doesn't need a buddy until she does. ? Katie is bold and sassy. She can be a bit entitled and bossy. She would rather share her space with cats than any dog but if she must, the dogs need to be tolerant of her dogma. She's a snob. So non reactive calm dogs is best. And no more than a few. Katie needs to eat 3-5 meals daily or always has food down. She is on the thin side but gracefully gaining weight. She can be picky and leftovers are a hell of a NO! She's a flawless goddess. It's her world, we just live in it. She's 13 and at her age do not expect miracles. She's paper-trained and once the weather breaks we will try outdoor potty recesses. She's not 100% potty trained but close enough. Katie loves to be held on her terms. Since 03/12/2023 we started going outdoors to potty. She loves the outdoors but a fence in area is a must. She loves to explore. Katie is a chihuahua rescue dog currently housed at the sanctuary as a foster due to the conditions she came in. Now available for adoption. animalhousesanctuary.org
