Kennedy – Great Dane/Boxer mix – 4 yrs – female (60lbs)
Say hello to Kennedy! This beautiful girl has had a hard time lately… she’s been through a lot. She was found up north by a woman and was sick, emaciated, and very pregnant! The woman took her to a nearby shelter. The very next day Kennedy gave birth to five puppies. Off she went to a foster home where she was able to safely care for her puppies and begin to get healthier. After she recovered and the puppies were ready to be weaned, we were asked to take Kennedy and her puppies into our rescue. We were happy to help!
Kennedy is now healthy, spayed, and ready to start her new life! This gal is crazy sweet and fun to have around. Her foster mom tells us that she’s housebroken, but we can’t guarantee it. She has a few canine buddies at our shelter, but isn’t very playful. She’s loving, affectionate, and silly. Kennedy is smart and willing to learn, but hasn’t had any kind of training that we can see. That being said, she’s very polite and gentle with everyone she meets. Kennedy loves to go on long walks and can hike like a champ.
