Kevin (Benefactor Dog)

Hi, I'm Kevin! I'm a goofy, happy, friendly Poodle mix looking for a new family that I can spend the rest of my life with! I was found on the side of the road - underweight, cold, matted and dirty. I'm now in a foster home where I'm working on gaining weight and enjoying the good life of living indoors! It's estimated that I'm about 2-3 years old and I'm full grown as a tall and lean boy! I'm potty trained, dog friendly, and VERY human friendly. My foster doesn't have kids or cats, so I haven't been around them yet but based on my sweet and funny personality, I'm sure I can get along with anybody! The rescue will make sure to test me first though if you have either at home. I'm scheduled to get neutered and up to date on vaccines which is covered by the rescue as part of my adoption fee. I'll also be heartworm tested and if I'm positive, the rescue will cover that too. Now all that's left to do is find my perfect match! This dog is a Benefactor Dog. His/her increased adoption fee will allow them to act as a benefactor to other dogs in our care that require special medical care and a better chance at adoption. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
