Hi there Gang! My name is King! As you can see in my handsome picture I am one happy boy! I was lost not too long ago and I was picked up by the nice deputies of Animal Control! Well I got back to the shelter and guess what? I had a microchip! Yep! Easy peasy!! Right? Wrong! My owner was contacted but then refused to come pick me up. So it looks like I will be looking for a new family to love! I am a terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. When I was having my health check up it was discovered that I was heartworm positive, but I am not worried! I know the shelter will see me through my treatment. Now I can only see one small problem left to solve.....I am about seven years old. I know! Most people will want a younger dog, but seriously I know I can be a wonderful family dog that is happy to play in the yard with you or lie by your side on the couch while relaxing in the evening. I bet I would be a perfect fit for almost anyone!
