This handsome big lad of about 3 yrs of age found himself at the shelter after his owner passed and no family member was available to care for him. King is a happy dog that states he is crate trained in his surrender profile. He does know sit but needs to get some excitement out first as he jumps up a few times initially.
Often dogs that had a home forget what they have learned due to being in a new surroundings and with new people. He does eventually master a beautiful sit and takes treats gently. It states he knows down but might need a refresher.
Since he is a big boy, he is strong but needs to get out for daily walks. He does very well but someone who owns him will have to understand his size, and need to do training together to create a great bond.
He actually plays fetch and will happily chase a ball giving him exercise. He also is cuddly and enjoys some good ole fashioned pets and attention. King has met some shelter dogs and has been playful but a meet and greet is always needed with a resident dog.
