This little boy is about to win his way into your heart. His name is Kobe! He was found out on the streets wearing a collar that indicated his name. Someone picked him up & called the number on his collar. Owners said they dont want him anymore. So they reached out to find a rescue & we took this poor baby in immediately!
He looks like a beagle mixed with possibly a cur or staffordshire terrier because he's got the hound dog color (and he's small like a beagle) but the ears & face shape are different. He is between 10 & 12 weeks old approximately. Looking at his body I would say he's underweight with a wormy belly. If he has never received proper deworming that usually means backyard breeders & no vaccinations either. He's getting his first vaccine & dewormer at the rescue with an apt scheduled to see our vet as soon as they can get him in.
Despite being adopted by bad people & tossed to the streets within just a few weeks of having a home, Kobe still has a rather impressive personality! He has been in foster care with our rescue owner for 5 hours now. He has not barked at all. He seemed a little scared when he first came inside & when he stepped foot in the new backyard. He whined once. But hes wandered around the home & settled into his pen without a single complaint. Of course Kobe is a baby & will require training. He might cry in his new home after settling in - we are only giving the first update based on the initial assessment. But so far he has been a really content & patient puppy!
We have given his first puppy vaccines & deworming. There will be an apt with the vet for his first exam & second vaccine round in 3 weeks. Following that apt in another 4wks he will be scheduled for final vaccines & neurer. The adopting owner should be prepared to bring Kobe to these apts in the St. Cloud & Palm Bay areas if adopted before he is due.
We are currently open for meet & greets with this baby. Adoption fee os $500 which covers all of his medical care & a small donation to the rescue to help with expanding costs. If you are interested please send a message with some information about your home environment!
