Kyra is sweet, enthusiastic dog who arrived at the shelter with her litter mate when the family was no longer able to care for them. She loves to be with people and will wiggle happily when she sees someone approaching her kennel.
Kyra runs around the yard energetically but quickly returns to her humans for a quick pet and supportive words. She is a sensitive girl who appreciates a kind voice and a pat. She lived with another dog and children but would need a slow introduction to cats. Her owner said she is also crate trained.
Kyra would make a wonderful companion for a family that is looking for a happy and energetic new member.
The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
