Lacey

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see a sweet young dog that needs our help. Lacey is one of these dogs that deserves, due to her excellent temperament and all the love she'll bring to a family, to have a wonderful home filled with pure love and nurturing. Lacey is the kind of dog that once comfortable in her environment snuggles in, loves you up and then puts her head on your shoulder breathing her warm breath. She's so sweet (while being initially a bit shy) and so very loving and irresistible that you can't help falling head over heels in love. Lacey is a cute as can be, 15 lb Schnauzer / Poodle mix (Schnoodle) that is nothing but pure love. This pup is SO sweet and once acclimated to her new life, will make a wonderful addition to a dog-loving family. Lacey's photos are awful! It's impossible to see the beauty (both inside and out) of this little dog. We've requested new photos and will post them immediately after we receive them. Lacey is a perfect size to be able to accompany her family just about everywhere a smaller dog is welcome. She will fit right into virtually every situation due to her great temperament and love of life. Our dream for this very loving pup is a forever Colorado home with a family that cherishes her for life. As Lacey becomes comfortable in her forever home, she'll blossom and become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please. The happier her family is with her behavior, the more Lacey will shine with her accomplishments. Farfel's would like to see our wonderful Schnoodle in a home that includes her in family time and activities (and some lap or couch-time with belly rubs would be absolutely perfect!) as well as taking that extra step to participate in positive reinforcement / force free virtual or in-person obedience classes. These classes successfully teach a smart and cooperative dog like Lacey the skills to accompany her family out into the world with excellent behavior. Farfel's Rescue is happy to provide a list of approved virtual and in-person force-free trainers in your area. Lacey will be a loving and devoted companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with a silly, fun-loving and irresistible dog. She would love to have another gentle and fun dog to play with but it's not mandatory if her people are nurturing and involved. This little Schnoodle would also do well with a younger family that works from a home-based office. She would bask in the attention and periodic cuddles throughout the day that this life-style brings. Lacey's fluffy, non-shedding coat is currently shelter-sad. She will require a lifelong commitment to periodic grooming (approximately every 8 - 10 weeks), excellent 5 star food and a daily salmon oil supplement. This regimen will promote great health as well as a cottony-soft coat that is shining and matte-free. Lacey has been fully vetted and is up to date on her vaccinations. This support Farfel's commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs. She has yet to be spayed however. Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Lacey's spay / microchip following her arrival in Boulder if one of our rescue vets is used.
