Meet Leefa
Leefa came from Egypt and is the sole survivor of her pack. She had 8 siblings but non made it past 4 months. Leefa is shy at the beginning but give it some time and she will come up to you and gives you hugs. Leefa had distemper when she was found and has a neurological twitch in her left foot from it, but she does not need any assistance and she run just fine with the other dogs. Dogs and cats that get no help in Egypt at all. No one will stop and check on them or bring them to the vet if they are hit by a car or sick. They lay in the street until they are dead. So, my friend saw her in laying in the street - she was sick with distemper - All my friend could do, is bring her to the vet and give her chance..... Leefa made it with some minor side effect.
