Lemon was originally born right here at Rockstar Rescue. She was adopted out at 8 weeks of age and we assumed she was living a happy life... Fast forward to December 2023 and we get notified that Lemon was at the local County shelter, turned in as a stray.
We reached out to her adopter but never heard back, so we're unclear how she found her way to being stray :(
But due to our microchips staying registered to Rockstar Rescue for life, we were able to get her back, safe and sound, and find her a new PERMANENT home where she'll be loved forever!
Lemon is VERY happy, silly, playful and good with people and dogs. She's a bit nervous when first meeting people, and seems to be VERY nervous out in public, but we're hopeful she's just not been properly socialized, and all that will go away with a new owner.
