Meet Leonard
Leonard (aka “Lenny”) is a Boxer puppy who was born in October, 2023. He was surrendered by the breeder shortly after birth because he was unable to nurse due to a cleft lip. Leonard was tube fed until he was old enough to be weaned, and has been eating and drinking normally ever since. He does not have a cleft palate and his cleft lip doesn’t cause any functional problems for him at this point. We think his unique smile just makes him all the more adorable!
Leonard is a very happy, friendly little guy. He loves people and other dogs. He has not ever been exposed to cats. He is a typical Boxer puppy with lots of energy and would love a home with a doggy playmate and/or an active human who wants an adventure buddy.
Leonard is crate trained, but not yet reliably housetrained and will need an adopter who is willing to continue providing all the structure and close supervision puppies require. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.
If you are interested in adopting Leonard, please complete an application on our website (uaaf.org).
If you have questions or would like additional information, please email Jenn at [email protected] or text (801) 554-9501.
