Leonie Retriever Mix Minneapolis, MN

Let me introduce Leonie bologna! She is the funniest foster pup that I have ever had in my home. She keeps all of the members of my family laughing. Leonie is SO in love with her toys. The more she has in her possession the happier she is. She is happy to have a play buddy, or if we are busy, she is happy to entertain herself.
She is a big fan of the snow and playing outside!

Leonie currently is sleeping in her exercise pen and sleeps through the night like a little angel. When she is tuckered out, she snuggles in our arms like a swaddled baby. It is simply the best!

As we enter the teething phase, we have found out that chewing on carrots is one of her favorite treats and keeps her busy. Now, to add to her fun meter, put an ice cube on the floor for both your enjoyment and hers! She is so proud of herself when she finally captures it.

Potty training is a work in progress. She is currently doing really well at finding the paper; however, it is our job to keep the paper clean.

She has met our residents dogs and seems to be very interested in how they navigate life. We are hoping for her to meet a couple kids this weekend.

Leonie is estimated to be 3.5 months old and 14 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
