Meet Logan
ADOPT...housetrained and obedience trained Logan. Logan has been in foster/training for 2 months and he learned so much. He has also been in training with the RESCUED program at Colwell Detention Center. He has QUITE the manners.
This sweet yet very energetic boy is approximately 3 years old and about 55 lbs of pure muscle. He is crate trained and potty trained.
Logan NEVER has a bad day and always greets you with a smile and a hug. He knows basic commands: sit, down, heel, leave it, and place. He does need training with his recall as he gets easily distracted when he's outdoors and will run if you're not paying attention. When training, his FAVORITE reward is hot dogs!
Logan's ideal home will need a fenced yard (no exceptions). He gets fixated on small animals (squirrels, rabbits, etc) and WILL chase them if he's not fenced in. He tends to put ALL of his energy into dogs when playing and he can play rough at times, so another dog his size or larger that can handle rough play would be ideal. Smaller animals wouldn't be advised.
Logan loves people of all ages but with his energy level he will knock over a small child without even realizing. He would do best in an active home. Logan loves to run, hike, play ball, tug, hang from a tree if there's a toy hanging, play in the kiddie pool, and play in the ball pit. He even loves to run on a treadmill for anyone wanting a workout buddy. He has a special Kong toy that he carries everywhere with him!
Although Logan can have endless amounts of energy, when his energetic needs are met he's the most chill dog you could possibly meet. He will cuddle with you on the couch. Lay beside your feet for belly rubs. He loves massages and back scratches. Logan really loves to be with his person/people.
Logan will need to be crated when leaving the home for work, errands, etc. He does great in his kennel at his foster home and will gladly go in as long as he gets a cookie or chew bone for being a good boy.
