Meet Loki - local guy
**Please read Loki's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!**
Meet Loki - a 16 week old, 25 pound Shepard Mix handsome guy who was found as a stray in Mississippi. This pup is a social butterfly who loves meeting new people. He smothers everyone he meets with kisses and his tail is always wagging. While he has normal puppy energy, there's nothing he loves more than cuddling up with his humans after a long day of exploring. This guy has a heart of gold!
His foster mom says "Loki is unbelievably sweet and cuddly! This friendly little fellow has a zest for life that is truly infectious. He loves to play, whether it's with a ball, a squeaky toy, or just a good old-fashioned game of tug-of-war. Loki's best quality is his friendliness. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and an eagerness to make new friends. He gets along great with our large 2 YO resident dog dog and loves playing fetch. Despite his energetic nature, Loki also knows when it's time to settle down for a cuddle. His love for people is clear in the way he snuggles up to anyone willing to give him a moment of their time. Loki's boundless energy, bravery, and friendliness make him a joy to be around. We are working on his training and he knows to sit for a treat, and we are working on potty training. Adopt Loki, and let this brave, friendly, and energetic puppy bring a spark of joy into your life!"
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
