My Story

Introducing London Fog! London Fog came into our program from Rock Springs Animal Control. London was brought to us as a medical case with damage to her left leg. She was found as a stray in Rock Springs and it is unknown how her leg injury occurred. She is a very timid and shy girl who would do best in a calm & quiet home where she knows she is safe and loved by her forever family. She would not thrive in a home with children as it might be too overwhelming for her. She is SO sweet and eager to accept love, it will just take her a little longer to warm up to a new environment after everything she's been through in life. Thanks to our amazing team at Jackson Animal Hospital, she was able to get her injured leg assessed by our vet, who believes there to be a severe fracture and nerve damage in her left leg. She is scheduled for an amputation of her left leg on Friday 3/8. This girl will be available to meet pending her recovery from surgery. Stay tuned to hear more about this tiny gal's journey! THE AAC IS OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster. 307-739-1881 [email protected] Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
