My Story

Meet Louise, a beautiful American Pit Bull who is searching for her forever home. Louise is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves nothing more than being around people and getting plenty of love and attention. She has a gorgeous brown coat and hazel eyes to match. She's also become an office dog, living in the Director's office and greeting all the folks who drop by, and she doesn't interrupt Zoom calls (mostly). Louise can also be left alone overnight because she doesn't tear anything up and has never had an accident in the office. Yes folks, she's perfectly potty-trained! She also loves to play with toys of absolutely any kind and she's very treat-motivated, so she's easy to train. Our office also has a foster dog who visits regularly and Louise absolutely loves running around and playing with her. In the beginning she didn't understand "sharing" but, with some gentle correction Louise has become great at playing together when toys are present. So she'd probably do great in a home with a canine friend her size. Louise is a real softie at heart. She loves to cuddle up with her humans for a good snuggle session. She is a loyal and loving dog who would make a great companion for someone looking for a furry best friend. American Pit Bull Terriers enjoy spending time with their humans and are known to be great family pets. Louise is a sweet and friendly girl who would make a great addition to any loving home. If you are looking for a loyal and affectionate dog to share your life with, she could be the perfect match for you! Louise's $250 adoption fee covers her spay, microchip, and all vaccinations, including rabies. If you think you want to be Louise's forever, or you want to meet any of our other wonderful shelter dogs, head on over to www.hsnb.org and fill out an adoption interest form.
