Coming in hot with a spicy chihuahua!! Let's be honest who doesn't like a tiny dog with a big attitude?? Meet Lucy, named from the character from the movie 50 first dates. It's takes all day for her to realize she loves you, then by morning she forgets and wants to eat you. Put this on repeat for a couple weeks and you have yourself Lucy. ? Lucy is a 3 yr old 6 lbs chihauaha. She was a surrender and from what we were told did not have the best life. She is a very defensive but over confident dog. She rules her roost and doesn't care who knows it. Once she stops forgetting she doesn't like you she is all laps and loves. She demands attention from her person. You sit, she fits, It doesn't matter the position as long as she is on you some how. Lucy will do best in a low traffic household with no small children. She is potty trained with easy access to outside or potty pads. She was an apartment dog so she is used to pads. She is crate trained although she can be trusted to be left out as she has not shown to be destructive. She gets along well with others dogs but is the boss so a submissive playmate is a must. Untested with cats. She has very quickly won the hearts of her foster family with all her personalities. Any potential Adopter must understand that she will not be a dog that will run up and jump on your lap right away, nor will she show well at a meet. Adopters must be willing to give her time to adjust without any pressure and allow her to come to you. She will not be an easy placement because of her quirks, but that is ok the right person is out there for her we just know it. Adoption 300 ***Serious inquiries only please.
