Lucy Lu-at-a-glance: 1-1/2 year old, female, spayed, Pit Bull Terrier, 50 lbs., up-to-date on core vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. Lucy takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Heartbroken Lucy was tied up and abandoned at an apartment complex when LOVEPAWS answered the call to help this sweet girl.

Lucy was very scared of the world when she came to her foster family, but after a couple of days she realized not all humans are evil and put her paws on her foster mom's shoulders and leaned in for the best hug ever! Lucy thinks she is a kitty most days and likes to curl up and snuggle on laps to watch tv with her foster family. Speaking of kittys, she has met the neighbor's cats and was gentle and respectful with them. She is super well-behaved outside and loves to meet up with her neighborhood doggie BFFS for some play time in the back yard. Lucy's foster home is near a lake and she enjoys taking strolls there to play in the water and take in the interesting smells of nature.

They've also taught her some of the basics like, sit, down, wait and come. She met the neighbors 6 year old and 1 year old and did fantastic with them!
