Luna

Luna is a sweet girl who loves hugs and cuddles and any attention she can get from her humans! She is used to being inside all day, with access to the yard whenever she wants. She also does fine inside all day without yard access. She likes adventuring in the woods with friends and sitting on the deck watching the world go by. One of Luna’s front legs is injured and she has a permanent limp. Her records say that she “was shot” but there’s no additional information. She does limp more noticeably after a day of hard playing, but it doesn’t seem to slow her down too much. It does mean she might need a little extra space and encouragement to jump up into a car or onto a bed, but she can do it. She does well with other dogs once she’s been introduced but sometimes plays a little too hard in situations like the dog park. She shouldn’t be around cats. Luna needs someone who has the time and energy to help train away some of her aggressive behaviors towards other dogs. She has not shown aggression towards humans. She has been around kids and adults of all genders and doesn’t seem to mind anyone, but this sweet girl has clearly had hard beginnings and needs someone patient to help teach away the bad habits that she struggles with.
