I'm Lyra, and my story began when I was rescued from a tough situation at a Buddhist Temple in Houston. Now that I'm safe and sound, I'm living my best doggy life and discovering the joys of being carefree!
I'm a cuddler at heart, but I've got a playful side too. Back at the kennel, I really enjoy hanging out with other dogs in playgroups. My friends say I can get a little too excited sometimes, so I think I'd be happiest with another rough and tumble pup as my buddy.
To be honest, I'd never seen toys before my rescue, but now I can't get enough of them. My bed is practically overflowing with toys!
I'm eagerly looking forward to finding a loving home where I can truly be myself and let my personality shine.
