Mable: I’m very excited at the prospect of getting my own family who would love and care for me. We could go for walkies and crunch through the Spring grass together then go home and snuggle, hand in paw. I want nothing more than for a family to love me and to let me love them back a hundred times more. I hope you’re reading this and thinking, finally, I’ve found my girl!

Even though I don’t have anything else in this world, I still have hope.

This fabulous, sweet girl was found by herself on the streets of Houston - we don't know if she was dumped or she escaped. Our Rescue has tried to find her owner but nobody has stepped forward. The finder was going to bring her to the shelter but they are euthanizing at an incredible pace there and we didn't want her to risk that because of her age - she has plenty of Golden years left! We think Mable is about 8 years old and weighs about 50lbs. She is 100% housebroken and great with other dogs.

Mable is sweet and loving, albeit a bit scared of where she was going next. We will post more about her as we get to know this sweet girl. In the meantime, we would love to find a foster or adopter for her.

She will be spayed, microchipped and is up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $395.
