Meet Mack! Mack is a 106 pound German Shepherd that came to CCHS as a stray. He had been roaming the area for a few weeks before he was finally caught and brought in. He loves treats and going for walks. He is stubborn and doesn't like to be pushed in a direction he doesn't want to go, so we coax him along with treats. He is touchy around his back legs and favors the front, right leg. We are not sure if he was bumped by a car or if there is another cause. Our vet will be looking at him soon and hopefully, we'll have some answers. We are accepting applications for this big guy so apply today!

The adoption fee is $100.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going.
