My Story

We all know that they call the wind Mariah, but who is "they"? And why do they get to name the wind? Our Mariah is just as refreshing and lovely as a summer breeze, so we call dibs on the name! Seriously, this girl is a beauty. Affectionate with humans, she is truly a "people person"! Mariah also gets along smashingly with cats and other dogs. What's not to like? She is active and agile, and would love a home where she can romp and play, scamper and zoom, and all those other fun things! Mariah walks very well on leash and, like a breath of fresh air (or wind!), she is light on her feet, so walking her is a dream. No pulling. It's almost like the "invisible dog on a leash" gadgets they used to sell at county fairs - does anyone remember those? Ooh, maybe we are old! Anyway, back to Mariah... she has a gorgeous, thick, brown and white coat, beautiful sparkling blue eyes, and a smile for every person she meets! Mariah is not super interested in toys right now, because people are her favorite playthings, but once she has her forever human, we know she'll adore any toys that person supplies. Food-motivated and intelligent, Mariah will learn very quickly and is eager to please! Mariah is good with cats, and weighs about 50#, around 3 years young.
