Meet Mars, a two-year-old mix breed. Mars is a sweet girl who had a rough start. She was chained outside and ignored by her owner before she came to our shelter. Because of this, she doesn’t have the best leash manners, but she is working on it with our shelter staff. She is now safe and warm, and getting her square meals a day. Mars is heartworm positive but starting treatment. She is awaiting her spay procedure and will be available for foster to adopt so that her medical bills do not fall on her forever family.
