This little bear is Maureen. She is an 8 lb Pomeranian mix and she is almost full grown at nine months of age. Little Mo was apparently the recipient of a bad haircut before she came to us. The good news is her beautiful coat is growing back in and she is getting more beautiful every day. Maureen came to us from a shelter. We don’t know anything about her past but it appears she wasn’t treated kindly by whoever owned her previously. Maureen has a shy personality and it takes her a while to trust you. She is timid about being picked up but she will gladly climb on to your lap when you are sitting down. She adores her person and wants to be near them all the time. Maureen is not crate- or house-trained yet but she is learning. She follows the other dogs in her foster home and she understands the routine. Maureen is still very young and she does enjoy toys, sniffing around the backyard and the occasional zoomie. She is not leashed-trained yet so a fenced yard is required. Due to her shyness a quiet home without children would be best for her. Little Mo will thrive in a home where she can be somebody’s baby and get all the attention she missed out on before.
