**URGENT - Adopter Needed ASAP!!** Current foster has a family emergency and has to rehome all of her pets. Meet Maverick! This sweet older boy found himself at an overcrowded kill shelter in TN - he was scared and emaciated at the shelter. Our rescue pulled him to safety and he has been in foster care, but they can no longer keep Maverick. The foster family has a family emergency and Maverick needs a new home. Maverick is a senior and he needs to be in a calm, stress free environment when he can laze away his holden years without too much fuss. He really needs to be in a loving home NOW, hopefully his forever home. Maverick is a survivor and a sweetheart, wants nothing more than cuddles and a sofa. He has been living in a foster home with a large mix of different dogs. But we think he would pair nicely with a female dog, aka a lady friend!! Note, he is not good with cats. Maverick is approx 8 yrs old and weighs in at a much healthier 76 lbs!! Life has not been kind to this precious pup, please let's find him a loving family and home for his golden years.
