Max is available for adoption through We Care for Animals! He is a very sweet and lovable 10 years young pug. He weighs about 17 lbs. His previous owner has health issues and could no longer care for him. Max is looking for a quiet home where someone is home most of the time. He enjoys the security of being close to his person, loves attention and being petted. His former owner was a lady and he seems to prefer women. Max is house trained with or without a dog door. He enjoys short walks and does very well on leash. In his foster homes, Max has been with a small dog, and in the other home with a large and medium-sized dogs. He likes to initiate play with the medium-sized dog. His main focus is being close to his person. Max will need regular professional grooming. He received a wellness exam including bloodwork, is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped and recently had a dental with two extractions. Max has allergies and received a cytopoint shot. This is a shot that he may need every two-three months to control allergies. Your veterinarian will need to determine frequency.
