Meet Maximus
Maximus is a little dog with a big name. This 10 lbs fella is friendly and sweet, loving the company of other dogs and humans alike.
This guy gets very attached very quickly to his humans. He does suffer from separation anxiety and general anxiety about different life scenarios (like riding in the car). He will greatly benefit from long term medication to help ease this. His adopter will need to have a good relationship with their veterinarian.
Maximus would likely enjoy the company of a dog his size in the home. He is a bit playful but doesn't rough house. His little tail wags when he meets new canine friends.
Given his mixed poodle breed, he will require regular grooming, an added expensive to take into consideration.
Maximus will need time to transition and decompress. While he is very friendly, his anxiety will make a new move tough for him. He needs patient humans to help him.
We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to [email protected] regarding adoption inquires.
All dogs are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and heartworm tested before adoption. Adoption fees are $500 for a dog, $700 for a puppy, and $350 for a dog with special needs or senior over 10 years old. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.
Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing [email protected] and asking for an application.
Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
