May is a 6 year old, 14 pound female doxie mix. She is a bundle of personality ready to light up your world! With an unrivaled drive, confidence and an impressive food motivation, she's a furry dynamo who knows how to make an entrance. This girl has no boundaries when it comes to seeking out treats – she'll climb crates, counters, couches and maybe even mountains!
May's love for treats makes her a delight for motivational structure building activities. However, we're working on easing her anxiety around certain situations. She's displayed resource guarding behavior, especially around food, toys and bones and would do best in a single dog home. Despite her protective instincts, May hasn't shown any resource guarding behavior toward people.
We're looking for a patient and understanding forever family who can help May continue to blossom. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.
