My name is Maya, and I am a 12 year old mixed breed girl. Yes, you read that right, I am a senior, and I have pulled on all of the heart strings of everyone here at the shelter. I am looking for a quiet home that can give me the last best years that I have patiently waited for. I want a person who will let me cuddle with them on a couch, my own dog bed for afternoon naps, and a peaceful environment. I would prefer a home without kids. I have never been around cats, and I am not sure how I would do with other dogs, but I am open to a very mellow kindred spirited canine friend. A meet and greet would be required if you do have a dog already in your home. I qualify for the "Senior for Senior" program here at Granny Rose, therefore my adoption fee is waived if a senior citizen adopts me.
