My Story
Meet Millicent!
Millicent is a sweet, smart, and beautiful 1 year old girl. She is a cuddly Aussie who enjoys belly rubs and nuzzling up to her humans. She is house trained, uses a doggy door, walks on a leash, loves to be brushed and follows basic commands. Millicent is potty and crate trained.
Millicent was found in Arlington this past summer left to fend for herself - because of this and other unknown factors, Millicent will take a while to warm up to her new environment. She is especially weary of men/boys and the entire family will have to proceed with patience and caution, but once she is comfortable, she is the MOST wonderful, loving dog. Because of the loyalty and love she has for her people, Millicent is very protective and acts out when guests come over. She will bark, growl and lunge in protection. Millicent will need a very patient family who will help her gain confidence and use the leash and crate as needed for protection for any house guest.
Millicent enjoys other calm, adult dogs, but she does not like energetic dogs who jump. Millicent bonds very tightly to the people she loves. She and my daughter have become extremely close. She lays on her bed for full cuddle sessions and is a shadow to me, always showering me with kisses. Millicent is drawn to females and would do best in a home with at least one woman.
With patience and proper training Millicent will thrive. She is a beautiful, loving dog that has so much love to give!
