My Story

Millie is a gentle special girl with a story of her own that no one will ever know but her ! She was found by a nice person, she was wondering the streets up north looking for food . She was turned into the shelter and labeled as “dumped” Millie quickly won all the hearts of the humans around especially her foster mom and this is what she has to say about wonderful Millie girl. She leaves my inside cats alone ! She pees and poops easily while walking with a leash. We have a designated potty area in the yard. She is not off leash in my yard because I do not have a fence. She has gotten along fine with the other dogs she has met. She walks nicely on a leash and only pulls if she really has to get to the potty area right away. She is an inside dog and splits time with free roam in the house and in her big inside kennel. She very politely takes treats from my hand. Millie sits on command and goes in her kennel when I tell her to kennel. Do not leave tempting treats on the counter like butter or pie. She has known what it is like to not have food. She only helped herself when I was gone, and she got out of her kennel. She likes to go on car rides and hasn't been car sick. She generally sleeps all night without asking to go potty. She will whine when she needs to go. We do get up early, though, 5:00. She has had another foster dog kenneled next to her, and they eat side by side with no issues. She absolutely loves spa day at the groomers. She is a good girl and deserves spa days. She also likes her head held in Your hands and kisses on her head.
