Milton - Las Vegas

Milton is a gorgeous 12 year old red purebred Dachshund senior. About 15 pounds. He has the sweetest face, and beautiful eyes. He came into rescue needing surgery for a salivary cyst on his throat. They removed the right side salivary glands that were leaking, causing the pelican like look. Also just neutered. Milton is the sweetest boy ever. He just wants a loving home where he can spend his golden years. He loves to be next to his human, whether watching TV or sleeping in the big bed. He does have a 4 out of 6 heart murmur, and will be on his heart medication for the rest of his life. Just 1/2 pill twice a day one hour before eating. No big deal. Milton loves his walks. Gets along with other dogs, and other people. Don't know about young children. I'd say older, considerate kids okay.
