My Story

Why Choose Me? Montana is a shy, handsome boy. He's afraid at the shelter, so he's been hanging out in an office with staff who've been trying to help him settle in and feel safe. Montana and a small dog had been on their own for a while, so everything is a little overwhelming for him right now. (Officers are still trying to catch the small dog and bring him to safety.) Montana was outside with his new best friend when I snapped a few pictures. He trusts his friend and liked being close to her. It was good seeing him walking on a leash and enjoying pets. In time, I'm sure he'll be ready to be with more new friends. He's a sweet boy who needs to feel safe and loved. We are still compiling information about this animal. You can read more about this dog and check out additional photos here: https://www.accgov.com/9482/Dogs The adoption fees, shelter schedule, a description of the rescue and adoption process, and a list of included vetting can be found at https://athenspets.net/adoption-rescue-process.
