My Story

MOOSE was brought to the shelter as a stray, so nothing is known about his background. MOOSE is about 1 - 2 years old, he weighs 70 lbs, he's had his DA2PP and bordetella vaccines and he is listed as a brindle Mastiff mix. MOOSE is not yet neutered, but he is on the waiting list at the vet for that, as well as for evaluation of his bilateral cherry eye. If MOOSE is not neutered before adoption, his adoption fee includes a $75 voucher to be used toward his neuter at the vet of your choice. MOOSE is a super sweet, very nice, very friendly, gentle giant type of a guy who loves people, enjoys a good walk and walks well on a leash and he seems to be housebroken too! MOOSE will even play ball all by himself out in the outdoor kennels and is a riot to watch! MOOSE has been fine around the other shelter dogs, but nothing is known about how he is with kids or cats since there are neither at the the shelter. Please bring your kids, dog(s), and even your cat(s), if possible, to the shelter for a meet & greet with the help of the warden or deputies just to be sure everyone gets along before taking MOOSE home!
