Meet Nene

Nene is estimated to be a 1 year old, female Hound mix (we think she has some Whippet in her). Nene is a sweet young female, that is struggling with her new shelter life. Nene is a small framed girl that loves to cuddle. She got the opportunity to spend the night with a staff member over the weekend, they stated she did great with their 3 pack of dogs, she did fine with their kitties, tolerable of having her nails clipped. She doesn’t know how to potty outside, but stated she would use the potty pads. Nene is a shy girl who is needing a quite home or with a low energy pack. Once away from all the chaos of the shelter, she opens up and relaxes a lot more. Nene walks okay on a leash but she will need training and a home that will pour into her. She is going to need a home or an adopter that will restore her faith in to humanity and allow her to come around at her own pace. Nene is such a smart girl that knows how to climb fences so a secure home would do best. Nene is considered a medium size dog. See less
