Meet Noodles! He is a 3-year-old, 15 lb Terrier mix who is living in a foster home after coming up from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Here is what his foster has to say about him... I first met Noodles when he sat in my lap and refused to get out of it. He adores cuddling. My family said, “He’s not a Velcro dog, he’s a superglue dog” and they’re not wrong. Despite his penchant for being on top of you, he will also happily sleep in his crate (with the door open) or any soft place, preferably under a blanket, living the good life. And no one deserves the good life more than this guy. Noodles just learned his new name as he just arrived in Washington via air transport from a California shelter. This sweetheart was found alone in a field, his beautiful curls overgrown and terribly matted to the point where they had to shave him down. They even shaved off his whiskers! When he arrived at his foster home, he got a warm bath, ate good food (and treats because he’s the BEST BOY), and got all the cuddles he wanted. He’s learning that he is safe and loved and wanted here. He’s so happy. He is skittish of busy streets and traffic and would do best in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Noodles is currently not housetrained and shows marking behavior. The marking will hopefully lessen as he was just neutered. Will it be a pain to housetrain a dog? Of course. Will it be worth it? Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Noodles is perfect in every other way. He’s just love incarnate. He’s gorgeous, gentle, and so sweet. He also gets along perfectly with his foster chihuahua sisters without complaint. Noodles deserves an adopter who is patient, is okay with being adored, is compassionate, is committed to positive housetraining methods, and understands that he’s been through more than we could ever imagine. He will return the favor by loving you forever and ever. He promises. Noodles is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.
