We are excited to announce that Penelope is finally available for adoption! Penelope is a darling bully mix that was transferred to us from a high-intake shelter in Philly, where she was picked up as a stray. When she arrived she was very pregnant. Penelope since gave birth to 10 healthy puppies and has done a brilliant job raising them! But now she’s ready to move on to focus on enjoying a new future of her own. Penelope is about 3 years old and weighs around 50 lbs. She is a delight to be around! She is affectionate and well mannered—an all around great dog. We aren’t sure yet how she is with other dogs or cats, but we think she’d be good in a home with children.
