Meet Penny!
Penny is a 3-4 year old, spayed female, Terrier mix. She currently weighs in at 12 pounds.
This girl is just full of sweetness and looking for a forever home to give all her love to. Penny has had a rough few years. She was found running stray, taken to a local shelter, adopted out and then moved to a second home before finally coming to stay with the Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue. All we want for Penny is to finally find a stable, forever home.
Penny definitely likes humans more than she likes dogs. She is very cuddly and likes to play, but she does not like to share her human with other dogs. She gets jealous when others receive attention and does not share her toys well. We think she would be completely content in a single dog household. Penny's foster reports that she is mostly house trained and does great in her crate.

To complete our easy online adoption application, please visit our website at PeppermintPigAnimalRescue.org.
Adoptions are held at our Adoption Center inside Peppermint Pig Thrift and Gift on Saturdays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.
IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
