Awesome Mr. Phoenix is still waiting for his forever family to find him. He is a Cattledog/Shepherd/pitbull mix and almost a year old. His is about 50 pounds. He’s crate trained, dog door trained and knows basic commands. He loves children and loves nothing more than being near his people. He gets along with other dogs, but does like to play a lot. He hasn’t quite learned when his dog friends tire. Sometimes he needs redirected with a chew toy or a little rest in his crate. So he’ll need another active dog friend. He needs lots of chew toys! He loves sleeping with his humans at night but will also sleep well in his kennel and let you know if he needs to go out.
Phoenix was previously adopted and can be weary around strangers , especially men. His first owner was a man, so we aren’t sure what happened there. So he needs a little time to warm up and take nice he does, he’s the best little guy.
