Meet Polo! This boy is precious and his story is going to break your heart. Polo is a 10 month old pointer labrador mix who was found roaming a neighborhood in mid-February with his brother Tucker. Animal control brought them in. They were scared and confused and sadly no one ever came to claim them. They are still overwhelmed by the shelter environment but slowly and surely coming out of their shell. Polo has really relied on his brother Tucker who is the more confident of the two. Both are very sweet though and just need time to warm up to new people. They've shown zero aggression in our care. They're just timid, but the shelter is a loud and busy environment so who can blame them? These two pups can be adopted together or separately.
Polo is such a handsome boy who is very loving once he gets to know you. With a little extra time and patience he is going to blossom into a wonderful companion! Polo is ready to find a true forever family that will not give up on him like his last one. Polo likes getting outside for some fresh air and exploring the play yard with his brother. Polo is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. He will be neutered prior to going home with his new family. His adoption fee is $50.

Every day we are fighting a space capacity crisis as we try to care for the overwhelming amount of abandoned local pets. Please consider visiting our shelter to adopt your next best friend.
