UPDATE!! Meet Pua, our resilient one and a half year old boxer/bully mix, a survivor of a challenging past. Despite facing adversity when attacked by another dog, she has shown incredible strength. This 40 lb girl wears her scars as a testament to her courage. She is getting ready to undergo training to help her build confidence and understanding that not all dogs pose a threat. She should be ready to go sometime in March. We will be looking for a patient and loving forever home, to embrace the opportunity to offer her the understanding and support she needs. With her gentle spirit and a heart full of love, she'll be ready to embark on a new chapter. Could you be the compassionate soul to provide her with the safe and loving forever home she deserves? Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
