My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. QUINN is available! Quinn is an estimated 8 year old male Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix who came into the MCACC shelter as a stray. He is a big guy and very gentle. He is currently with a foster family recovering from his recent neuter, and he still requires some further vetting to review/manage high liver values. Quinn seems apprehensive, clings to his foster mom and is protective of her, and likely would do best in an "only dog" home. He is skittish when out for a walk, but he runs around the backyard like a much younger dog. Could YOU provide his "forever home" while he enjoys his remaining years? All potential fosters and adopters must complete an application, pay the $25.00 application fee and have a home visit before being considered for any dog. If you reside in Arizona and are interested in adopting Quinn from Arizona Golden Rescue, we recommend that you visit our website asap and complete the Online Adoption Application to begin the process. WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA. http://arizonagoldenrescue.rescuegroups.org/info/adoption Once we receive your application and application fee, a home visit will be scheduled. Once your home visit is approved, if Quinn is spoken for, you will be placed on our waiting list. (Please be aware that your application cannot be processed until the application fee is paid.) Our sole purpose is to find the perfect home for the dog as our dogs always come first. Because we have new rescues coming in all the time, if the Golden that is the right dog for you is not available at this time it will probably come into Rescue and you would be notified of the availability. Waiting times vary depending upon how specific your preferences are. The more you restrict the factors involved in choosing a dog - age, sex, coat color, etc. - the longer the wait may be before we have the perfect dog for you. Please note: it is the policy of AGR not to place a dog less than 3 years of age with a family that has children less than 3 years of age.
