My Story
Hey there, I'm Rascal! I'm about 1 year old and I've got quite the story to share. So, picture this: I was found by these amazing humans on the side of a highway in South Carolina. I had a couple of broken legs, but they took me in and gave me all the love and care I needed! I had surgery to fix one of my legs and sadly, the other had to be amputated. I recovered from the both surgeries like a champ
I'm pretty good with potty training, but sometimes when I get super excited or nervous, I might have a little accident. Oopsie! But hey, accidents happen, right?
Oh, and did I mention that I'm crate trained? Yep, I am! At first, I might whine a bit when I'm in there, but once I settle down, I get all cozy and snuggly. But when it's time to sleep, I prefer snoozing in my comfy dog bed without any crate. Ah, the luxurious life of a pup!
Leashes are still a bit of a mystery to me, to be honest. I'm not too interested in them. I'd much rather be out in the backyard, chasing after balls all by myself. Speaking of toys, I absolutely LOVE playing with them! And guess what? I get along great with other doggies too!
I'm mostly great with kids, but loud noises and quick movements can make me a bit jumpy, so it might be best if I'm around older kids. Safety first, right?
I can handle a few steps that lead to the backyard, but those stairs inside the house? Nope, not my thing. Going up is okay sometimes, but going down? Nah, not gonna try that.
I'm a vocal guy, so I'll bark or whine when I want attention or when something really fun is happening. Gotta make sure everyone knows I'm here and ready to party!
Overall, I'm a sweet and cuddly doggo who loves to be pet and snuggle. Some more training would definitely benefit me, but I've already come a long way since my rescue. Can't wait to learn even more!
