Reeses

Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet's bio. Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Reeses. Reeses is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up! Meet Reeses! Reeses is the cutest little mutt around! Reeses, her mom and her siblings were dumped outside of a laundromat. A good Samaritan came across them, picked them up and took them in. As soon as we found out about this little family, we reached out to see if we could help with their vetting and finding them families! Reeses is estimated to be 5 months old (as of 3/5/2024) and a female. Reeses is fully vaccinated and microchipped! She currently weighs about 30 pounds with room to grow! We estimate she will grow to be a medium to large-sized pup. Momma dog is a shepherd / husky mix and about 50 pounds, but we have no clue who the puppy daddy is and what size / breed he is. Reeses will be adopted out on a spay contract and spayed between 6 months to 1 year of age. Reeses is dog friendly! She currently lives with multiple other dogs and does great with everyone! Reeses has puppy energy (like most puppies her age do). She loves running and playing in the yard with her doggie foster siblings, but also enjoys being a couch potato after. She enjoys playing with puzzle toys too. She's very sweet towards other dogs and plays well with everyone. Reeses hasn't officially been cat tested, but she's so young that we do not anticipate any issues. We'd be happy to officially cat test her for any serious adopters with cats. Reeses is kid friendly! She's been around children of all ages (3,8, teenagers) and does great with everyone! Reeses is still learning how to walk on a leash, but she's doing great so far! She will calmly stay with you, but she's looking for a patient family who will help her continue to learn the ropes of leash walking! Reeses is fully potty trained and crate trained! She currently goes into the crate while her foster mom is away from the home for work or errands. Reeses is great about sharing food, toys and treats with her doggie foster siblings. Reeses would love a home with a fenced in yard OR an active family who will take her out on adventures as she (and most puppies) have some puppy energy to burn. She is a sweetheart and very good when we are out in public. She's great with meeting strangers and loves everyone. She enjoys cuddlings up in your lap and interactive toys. Reeses is a down to earth & playful pup! She’s a real cutie who is always curious about the things around her! Listens very well and is eager to please (receive treats). She makes an amazing companion and gets along with all dogs.
