I'm Rex from Texas, a very handsome black and brown brindle Plott mix with a touch of orange and a white chest. I arrived in Buffalo Dec 21st; 2023 has not been easy for me. I was found in June, chained to a post, at 26 lbs. I was fostered back to health in TX, neutered in July, then treated for heartworm and gained 24 lbs. There I was super dog friendly and loved my toys. The Buffalo vet thinks I'm a young adult ; I'm walking 2-3 miles a day with my foster mom- I'm great on a leash, and non-reactive to other dogs and squirrels. I'm housebroken, but may take time to adjust in my new home. I sleep through the night in my crate and spend a lot of time in it voluntarily during the day. I love car rides, and haven't barked yet.
