Riley (female) entered the shelter system after having been presumed to have been hit by a car and with some type of chemical burn on her back end. Riley is currently at our vet getting treated for her injuries. Her chemical burn is basically resolved, other than her coat growing back in. Her leg break is significant, will require surgery and even possibly amputation, but dogs do well as a tripod. Despite this prior experience, Riley is a sweet loving middle aged lab mix who is people and dog friendly and has basic house manners. Riley needs a foster or forever home immediately to recover in.
