RIO - Lab Retriever mix, Male, Adult, Neutered, 46 lbs, Heartworm negative, vaccinated. A people-friendly boy who loves to be loved. He prefers the company of female dogs and have a calmer demeanor, or would be great as your one and only love. The main volunteer at AC said, "I just love Rio! He is so cuddly! He wants to be right with his person."
RIO is such a wonderful boy--one of the volunteers was so sad that he might euthanized. She said, "he is breaking my heart." HE is such a loving scruffy. RIO loves to give hugs and loves attention. His human will be a well-loved person. This is a blurp from the rural shelter this boy was rescued from, he is a good boy just was terrified in this high kill shelter (dogs can sense what is going on). We had him pulled from there and taken into a safe place for him and now he is a sweet friendly humble young man. He may be a little shy at first but then his goofy personality will come out to shine, he would just need time to acclimate is all. He will be here this weekend and hopes to finally have the chance at having the wonderful thing called a forever home.
