River

Meet River! She is a young mixed breed dog who has a sensitive, sweet personality. She is about 2 years old, spayed, fully vaccinated and weighs about 60 pounds. River was rescued from living in the streets where she was neglected with no food or water for days. She now lives in a foster home where her foster mom has learned many things about her. River is a high energy gal who loves to play with other dogs. She has an energetic play style and has fun with other dogs who share her enthusiasm for play. River is crate trained and quietly sleeps in the crate all night. She loves toys and enjoys tossing them into the air and chasing them. She is friendly to people and can be shy at first. An adoptive family that allows her the space and time to gain trust would make the transition to her new home go smoothly. River is a good girl who does not chew up or destroy things. She is easily contained in a fenced in yard and does not try to escape. She gets deeply attached to her family and loves to be cuddled and held. River is a tall, strong girl and having an owner who can manage her energy and strength would be of great benefit.
