Rocky was taken from a dangerous situation after getting a call from the police to get permission to seize him from his owners. He is very underweight, heartworm positive, and is covered in sores. He is a very sweet boy who is around 3 years old. He likes other dogs and ignored the cats when he arrived at the shelter. He's been getting the care he needs at the shelter to put on weight and take care of his open sores. He was only 43 pounds when he came into the shelter. He has already put on 7 pounds, and his coat is getting shinier. He’s a friendly, playful guy who will greet you with a toy and wagging tail when he sees you. He’s ready to be in his forever home getting the love and attention he deserves.
